Secretary Kerry to Host Fourth Round of the U.S.-Colombia High-Level Partnership Dialogue

Secretary Kerry will host the fourth round of working group meetings as part of the U.S.-Colombia High-Level Partnership Dialogue on February 28. Delegations from the two countries will have discussions in five working groups to expand cooperation in the areas of Democracy, Human Rights and Good Governance; Energy; Social and Economic Opportunities; Environmental Protection and Climate Change; and Culture and Education. Additionally, the second U.S.-Colombia Joint Commission Meeting on Science and Technology will meet to discuss scientific cooperation.

Secretary Kerry will be joined by Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs Roberta Jacobson; Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Charles Rivkin; Assistant Secretary for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Kerri-Ann Jones; Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs Evan Ryan; Special Envoy and Coordinator for International Energy Affairs Carlos Pascual; Assistant Administrator for USAID/ Bureau of Economic Growth, Education, and Environment Eric Postel; and Acting Assistant Administrator for USAID/Bureau of Latin America and the Caribbean Beth Hogan.
