Special Representative on International Labor Affairs, Barbara Shailor, was joined by Dr. Jose Manual Salazar-Xirinachs, the Executive Director of the Employment Section of the International Labor Organization, to discuss youth unemployment.  In the following clips, Dr. Salazar explains the ILO’s commitment to addressing the global problem of youth unemployment by introducing a number of policy options, discussing private-public partnerships that are available, as well as the issues of  development and equality in youth unemployment that result from different socio-economic environments.
